sPlan — program for drawing electronic circuits.
The sPlan scheme editor has been developed since the early 2000s by the German company ABAKOM. The program is supported and currently, at the moment the latest version of sPlan 7.0. At the end of 2014, the company announced that it was developing a new version of sPlan 8.0. Documentation for all program functions can be found using the built-in help (in English).
sPlan very convenient to use. Added components are simply “dragged” from the panel located on the left, to the right of which there is a toolbar for drawing lines and various geometric shapes, adding labels, inserting bitmap images, etc. Component numbering can be assigned either automatically or manually. The mode can be selected with the right mouse button through the component properties (Properties), additional attributes are edited in the same window, including a text field (you can write in it, for example, the value of this part, etc.). The kit includes a large number of ready-made libraries of electronic components, it is possible to create and save your own component templates. The editor can work with several pages (in the form of tabs), there are functions for exporting a document to a graphic file and printing with a preview. The latest version conveniently implements scaling using the mouse wheel, it is possible to print large letters on a regular printer designed for a sheet of format А4.
The program is paid, in the free version the functions of saving, exporting and printing files are disabled. There is also a separate program for viewing and printing files (sPlan Viewer). There is no official version, but on the Internet you can find unofficial Russified options, including the portable version (which needs installation).
The program works under Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 x32 / 64, there are no specific requirements for the computer configuration.
